8Bit Box is a board game that will remind you the golden age of video games as each player has a gamepad to program their actions, using three wheels: direction, symbol, and value.

The base game contains three different games influenced by classic old-school video games.

Pixoid

Become Pixoid, a cute little cube of energy, and run around the Circuit Board to escape the Bugs! Stay alive as long as possible while picking up bonuses to score points! All other players take control of the Bugs as they try to catch Pixoid as quickly as they can!

Program running

With your controller, move around the circuit board ! You play Pixoid? Try to escape the Bugs as long as possible! You play a Bug? Coordinate your movements with other Bugs to catch Pixoid as fast as possible! A new player becomes Pixoid at every round. When each player has played Pixoid, whoever has the most victory points wins the game.

Stadium

Get ready to compete in the most epic Trials ever organized! Your country is counting on you to prove its greatness. With the rest of your team, manage your Energy throughout the vastly different challenges and never forget that good teamwork always carries the day!

Let the games begin!

At the beginning of each new Trial, select the amount of Energy you want to engage. Your Energy is limited, and the games are long. Be team-oriented, rest when necessary, and show the world what you've got during the final events to win the most medals. The team with the most medals at the end of the 10 Trials wins the game.

Outspeed

Take your place at the starting line of Ultima, the most dangerous race in the galaxy! Deep in a burning desert, between steep cliffs and unstable futuristic installations, take any and all risks to be the first across the finish line. Join the elite ranks of the winners of Ultima!

Furiously fast

With your controller, choose the path you will take for the next section of the race at each new tile. Any tactic is possible, and you will need to be cunning to be the first to cross the finish line. Managing the fuel in your tank, accelerating at the right time, and throwing obstacles in the wheels of your opponents are the keys to success for every driver. At the end of the race, the leader among the surviving players is declared winner!
